Ashley's Angel Fund Inc. is a nonprofit organization providing monetary assistance for veterinary care to dog owners whose pet is facing a life-threatening condition.  By providing financial assistance in time of critical need, Ashley's Angel Fund seeks to perpetuate the bond that exists between people and their pets.
 
Ashley's Angel Fund is home to the Zach Memorial Fund, specifically for dogs with cancer, and the Ashley Fund for non-cancer cases.

JASMINE – MARCH 2000:  a five year old German Shepherd with lymphoma.   Her treatments were successful in achieving a short remission and some additional quality time with her owners.  Unfortunately, Jasmine lost her fight with cancer late in the year.

 
BUTTERCUP – APRIL 2000:  a six month old Golden Retriever, was born with “ectopic ureters”, where the tubes into and out of her bladder were not connected.   Without surgery, she would not have been a viable pet and would have probably been euthanized.  The surgery resulted in successful reconstruction of her bladder area.
 
SANDY – JUNE 2000:  a one and a half year old Golden Retriever who ate her leash and was critically ill with an intestinal blockage.  Surgery removed the blockage successfully.
 
SOPHIE – AUGUST 2000:  a six-month old Greyhound who had an angular leg deformity in her right front leg as a result of an accident.  During surgery, the malformed piece of bone was removed and her leg was reconstructed.
 
WILLOW – SEPTEMBER 2000:  a one and a half year old Golden Retriever, had severe hip dysplasia and was in great pain.  She would not have been able to lead a pain free life without two complete hip replacements.  Her first hip replacement went so well that her second surgery has been delayed indefinitely.
